Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and Quilon ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing and using Quilon, you accept and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions of this agreement.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use Quilon. Your continued use of Quilon following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.

License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Quilon for your personal or business use, subject to these Terms. You may not:

  • Copy, distribute, or transmit Quilon
  • Reverse engineer, disassemble, or decompile Quilon
  • Modify or create derivative works based on Quilon
  • Rent, lease, or lend Quilon to others
  • Use Quilon to compete with our business
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account password
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access

We are not liable for unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to secure your password. You agree to use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication when available.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Quilon to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights
  • Share copyrighted material without authorization
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Share child sexual abuse material or any content exploiting minors
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Phishing, spam, or send unsolicited communications
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt Quilon's functionality
  • Engage in any illegal activity

Private Share & File Transfer

Quilon's Private Share feature uses end-to-end encryption and a relay-only architecture. The service shall not be used to share content in violation of applicable law, including copyrighted material or illegal content. We reserve the right to terminate any active share session upon receiving a valid abuse report.

Zero-Knowledge Relay

Quilon operates as an encrypted relay for share sessions. All transferred content is end-to-end encrypted, and the service is designed so server-side systems cannot read share content.

Abuse Reporting

To report abuse related to Private Share or any other Quilon feature, contact abuse@quilon.dev. Upon receiving a valid abuse report referencing a specific session, we will terminate the session immediately. Share sessions expire automatically after 30 minutes.

Subscription Plans

Free Trial

New users receive a 7-day free trial of all Pro features. After the trial:

  • Clipboard sync continues with limited history
  • Screenshot capture and basic annotation
  • Pro features (Private Share, File Transfer, PII scanner) require subscription

The free trial is provided as-is. We may modify the trial duration or included features at any time.

Pro Plan

Pro is an annual subscription plan. The Pro plan includes:

  • Unlimited E2E encrypted clipboard sync
  • Private Share (E2E file sharing via link)
  • P2P file transfer between paired devices
  • Screenshot capture with PII detection
  • Advanced annotation and beautification tools
  • Mobile PWA access

Billing and Renewal

  • Pro subscriptions renew automatically each year unless cancelled
  • Billing occurs on the date you subscribed
  • You will receive an invoice via email after each charge
  • Payment is due in full at the time of billing

Cancellation and Refunds

  • You can cancel your subscription anytime from your account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
  • No prorated refunds outside our stated refund policy
  • Upon cancellation, your account will revert to the Free plan
  • We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee if you're not satisfied

Warranty Disclaimer

QUILON IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We make no warranty that Quilon will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee that defects will be corrected or that Quilon is compatible with any particular hardware or software.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUILON SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for Quilon in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Quilon and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of Quilon
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any law or third-party rights
  • Your user-generated content

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to Quilon immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Engagement in illegal activity
  • Abuse of our systems or other users
  • Non-payment of fees

Upon termination, your access to Quilon is immediately revoked. Your data will be retained per our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

All content in Quilon, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Quilon or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

Your clipboard data remains your property. By using Quilon, you grant us the right to store and process your data solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your data.

Third-Party Content

Quilon may contain links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these external sites. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and governed by their terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Quilon is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of Quilon following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
